About Churchward Antiques

Here at Churchward Antiques we have a real passion for antique music boxes, clocks and antique automata. From the very earliest snuff box movements to the last of the disc machines, we have a great appreciation for them all.

Our principal aim is to raise awareness of these wonderful 19th century mechanical instruments. We feel there are far too many people out there that are completely unaware of the existence of these antique musical treasures and we enjoy nothing more than introducing new enthusiasts to this enchanting, forgotten world. It was this that compelled us to make the documentary film 'The Victorian Music Machine - A History of the Musical Box', which you can view, either on our website, or on our YouTube channel.

The stock available on our website is all in perfect working order and in most cases, has been completely overhauled and fully restored to its original condition. We are constantly working on new stock items that will be added to our website, so please visit us regularly to see our updated stock.
